New Zealand group French For Rabbits shared their lovely and poignant new single Highest Hill yesterday on Gorilla vs Bear, taken from their forthcoming LP, out early next year via our friends at Muscle Beach Records.
“I wanted to make you feel as hollow as I felt, I wanted to make you feel as sorry as hell”, sighs a heartbroken Brooke Singer, her dreamy voice softening the cutting lament with a serene, wintry wistfulness for the way things were, and a stoic resignation that they’ll never be the same.The Weight of Melted Snow is out January 25th.
In other good news, French for Rabbits are on tour next week in
Wellington, Auckland and New Plymouth. They're going to have stunning visuals by
Erica Skleners for all three shows. Here are details
