Acclaimed US producer-songwriter-performer Maggie Rogers has announced Stella Donnelly as the special guest on her Heard it in a Past Life World Tour New Zealand date.

Fremantle folk guitar-pop artist Stella Donnelly has rapidly ascended to become one of Australia’s most beloved songwriters. Bold, unapologetic, and searing, her melodies beguile while lyrics punch you in the gut. Her debut album Beware of the Dogs was releasedlast month as a Feature Album on Triple J, RTR FM, and Stereogum, and was critically loved by International critics.

Stella Donnelly held audiences captive with last year’s debut EP Thrush Metal, featuring visceral hit Boys Will Be Boys. Acclaimed US producer-songwriter-performer Maggie Rogers has announced her first ever New Zealand show on her Heard It in a Past Life world tour, playing Auckland’s The Powerstation on Saturday 1 June.

Presenting thoughtful indie-pop, Rogers’ music endeavours to bring the human back into popular music. Using organic percussion and ethereal timbres alongside lyrics of activism and heartache, Rogers’ approach is truly unique - translating to a glistening live show.

Rising to fame after being discovered by Pharell Williams in a NYU masterclass, Rogers’ debut EP Now That The Light Is Fading was released to immense critical acclaim. With the success of viral tracks such as Alaska which has accrued 100 million+ global combined streams to date, plus On + Off, Give a Little and more, the release of debut album Heard It In A Past Life on January 18, 2019 is hotly anticipated.
