Debut Single for Kaela

30 October 2018 - 0 Comments

Auckland based indie-pop artist Kaela, AKA Leah Navanua is pleased to release her debut single Set Me Free this November. Combining her unique set of vocals with catchy melodic hooks, Kaela delivers a raw and powerful musical experience fueled with passion and honesty. Staying true to herself, Kaela focuses heavily on stirring emotion and raising life’s questions through lyrical content. Sweeping you up on an epic indie-pop journey, Set Me Free is ready to soar on the airwaves.

Recorded at Big Pop Studios in Kingsland, Set Me Free was both produced and mastered by the talented local producer Carlos Barnet, and will be signed to local publisher Songbroker.

Kaela has been performing in Auckland and Waikato venues for the last few years, most notably playing a featured acoustic set at Parachute Music Festival under her given name Leah Navanua.

This new journey under the moniker ‘Kaela’ marks the exploration of her own craft and unique songwriting style.
