Released on April 14, Playboi Carti debuted at #12 on the Billboard 200 charts. The mixtape features Carti’s two hit singles Magnolia and wokeuplikethis* both of which embody the 22-year-old rapper’s experimental but hook-heavy sound. The songs spent the summer simultaneously climbing the Billboard 100 chart and Spotify’s Rap Caviar playlist, as Carti performed at festivals across North America and Europe, solidifying his place at the forefront of today’s breakout hip-hop artists.

Due to a clash with headline shows previously announced, Carmouflage Rose will no longer join Playboi Carti as support on his Australian tour. Opening proceedings at these shows (exc. Perth) will be human vibe machine Horizon, whose recent support slots at Lil Uzi Vert whipped the crowd into an absolute frenzy – check it out here.

Joining Playboi Carti in New Zealand is Auckland’s own Ethan James. Cultivating a reputation as one of the city’s most influential DJ’s, James’ palate and expertise extends beyond his hip hop speciality to RnB, Dancehall and Afrobeat.

With new dates freshly revealed, fans are encouraged to act quickly to secure their tickets to Playboi Carti’s first ever Australian and New Zealand shows!
