Robbie Williams Confirms Two NZ Dates On His Let Me Entertain You Tour 2015

18 May 2015 - 1 Comment

Chugg Entertainment are thrilled to announce the details of Robbie Williams’ upcoming Let Me Entertain You Tour, which is heading to Australia and New Zealand this October, as revealed by the superstar himself last month.

Of the announcement, Robbie Williams said, “Australasia is one of my favourite places to tour so I’m really looking forward to October. I was gutted I didn’t make it to New Zealand when I came down last year, so it’s apt that I’ll be ending the tour in that beautiful country.”

The Let Me Entertain You Tour kicks things off with five Australian dates before heading across the ditch and taking in Wellington’s Basin Reserve on Saturday 31st October and finally wrapping things up at Auckland’s Vector Arena on Tuesday 3rd November.

It’s been a long time between sing-alongs for Robbie Williams New Zealand fans, 12 years in fact!  Robbie has toured New Zealand twice – the first time in 2001 for the multi-city stadium Sing When You’re Pacific Rimming Tour, which saw him perform to sell-out crowds across the country.  Robbie then returned to New Zealand in 2003, as part of his record-breaking world tour in support of his Escapology album, which saw the pop superstar performing his hit-laden set to delighted fans at a full house Western Springs Stadium.

This time around Robbie will return to New Zealand armed with his biggest hits, a glittering collection of fan favourites and a handful of unique covers. The aptly-named Let Me Entertain You Tour boasts a set-list perfected over a career spanning two decades at the very pinnacle of pop and includes the likes of Angels, Rock DJ, Better Man and Bodies.

Coupled with his characteristic showmanship, infectious charisma and the wicked wit for which he is renowned worldwide, Robbie Williams is a born entertainer and a consummate showman.

“Australia and New Zealand - Let Me Entertain You.  Me: Robbie Williams.  You: the audience.  Let’s have some fun together, like old times!”

Let him entertain you?  It will be impossible not to!

Advance tickets for Robbie Williams will be available at the Visa Entertainment presale for all Visa Credit, Debit and Prepaid cardholders from 9am (local time) Wednesday 20 May 2015 until 9am (local time) Friday 22 May 2015 or until presale tickets sell out at http://www.visaentertainment.co.nz/.

Update 11/09

With only five weeks to go until Robbie Williams hits the stage for the first show on his Let Me Entertain You tour at Perth Arena on 9 October, Chugg Entertainment are pleased to confirm that Lawson will join Robbie on all the Australian and New Zealand dates.

Since its announcement in May the response to the Let Me Entertain You tour has been incredible with second shows added in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne within minutes of tickets going on sale. In early July, a third Melbourne show on 24 October was also added to the tour run.

Special guests on the tour are UK four-piece Lawson. Named after the surgeon that saved the life of lead singer Andy Brown, Lawson recently returned from a yearlong break with their new single, Roads, released in Australasia in March 2015. The second single from the band’s upcoming self-titled album, Under the Sun, is being serviced to Australasian radio next Monday (14 September) and the album will be released on 9 October.
