Openside - 'Worth It'

05 May 2015 - 0 Comments

Worth It crashes onto the airwaves in May with a barrage of high energy hooks and subversive lyrical smarts. The track from Auckland pop punkers Openside is already seeing these youngsters talked about as the freshest local band debut of the year.

Produced and written at Golden Age with Josh Fountain (Thomston, Kidz In Space etc) and Jaden Parkes (Goodnight Nurse, Kids of 88) and mixed by Rich Bryan (Stan Walker, Babysitters Circus) at Big Pop, this one has smash written all over its devilishly smiling face.

A video from award-winning director Tim Van Dammen is in the works. Stay tuned for news of Openside’s next Auckland show at the end of May and they head to the South Island to open for Yellowcard in Christchurch in July.

Openside are:

Possum Plows (vox)
PJ Shepherd (gtr)
Harry Carter (bass)
George Powell (drums)
