If you didn't know who RÜFÜS were 12 months ago, you do now… this indie-dance trio has been flooding airways and dance floors with waves of subliminal and unrelentingly infectious tunes, sold out shows around the globe in towns like L.A, NYC and London, huge success in their home country including a #1 GOLD selling record & multiple sold out tours and gracing many people’s highlight lists after their performances at SXSW in Austin this year. One look at their soundcloud page shows how hugely in demand the trio are by DJ’s & producers across the globe for their remixes and originals.

Rounding off an incredible start to the year and on the back of an unrelenting tour schedule in support of their debut album ATLAS, RÜFÜS finally bring their live show to Auckland.  

ATLAS, their debut album proper was released last year and since then RÜFÜS have been trekking the globe and taking it by storm. 2014 alone has seen them take on The Big Day Out mainstage in Aus, play SXSW & a huge run of both UK and US dates (the latter American audiences will know them as  RÜFÜS DU SOL after a trademark dispute forced a name change upon the Aussie trio.) RÜFÜS are currently playing (and quickly selling out)  their largest venues yet across Australia & we here in Auckland are super lucky to grab the guys, before they prepare to relocate to the other side of the atlas to tour and start work on their follow up record in Berlin.

ATLAS was written, produced and recorded by the band, between two DIY studios they built themselves. The first at a remote farmhouse on the NSW South coast. The second in a hollowed out water tank under one of their parents houses. It was released on the Sweat It Out label after garnering the attention of the late Dance Legend, DJ Ajax.

The RÜFÜS honed live show is a combination of live instruments, electronic production and skilled pop sensibilities and RÜFÜS dare you not to dance when they take the stage @ The Studio, June 26^th.
