Passenger announces New Zealand Summer Tour!
New Album Whispers Released Worldwide June 6th 2014
Mike Rosenberg, aka Passenger, today announced he will be bringing his Whispers Tour to New Zealand for 2 shows in January 2015;
January 30th 2015 – The Civic, Auckland
January 31st 2015, Michael Fowler Centre, Wellington
All Ages/Licensed Shows
2012 and 2013 were watermark years for the acoustic folk troubadour and included sold out tours here in New Zealand as well as the UK, Europe, Australia and the US, over 6.5 million single sales, No. 1 singles in 21 countries (including here), numerous Top 10 album chart positions, 1.2 million album sales and, of course, a whole lot of busking.
Whispers is Passenger’s sixth studio album and its oldest songs date back to before the mayhem began. The album’s grandest love song and first single is Heart’s On Fire, which starts out sparse on finger picked guitar and builds into a dramatic, passionate, strings-soaked plea to the person you can’t get out of your head.
