Blacklistt Announce Always Tour 2014

03 April 2014 - 1 Comment

The Rock FM are proud to present the Blacklistt Always Tour 2014.

Blacklistt is one of New Zealand’s most iconic and successful rock/metal bands. Made up of 4 of the original 5 members of Blindspott, Blacklistt deliver a dynamic live performance like no other! Blacklistt look forward to playing their high energy set to their diehard fan base – "it's time for us to deliver and give back to all our fans for their unwavering support over the last few years.”

The Always Tour celebrates their latest single of the same name. The official Always music video is set to be launched any day, and will be uploaded to their YouTube Channel, or stay tuned to their facebook page: www.facebook.com/BlacklisttNZ

Blacklistt released their self-titled album in September on Black Friday 2013. The album which features the aggressive track Burn, the signature sounds of Worth Fighting For and the hit single Home, debuted at No.1 on the NZ music charts. This follows in the same vein as the previous No 1 albums achieved under the Blindspott moniker, a Blacklistt gig is not complete without playing the classic tracks from their birth, the iconic riffs of S.U.I.T the anthemic Phlex and the mosh pit favourite Nil By Mouth.

The Always Tour follows a hugely successful summer of gigs for Blacklistt where they headlined at major festivals which included starting the New Year with a bang at Mt Vibes and playing to a capacity crowd at Homegrown in Wellington.

Damian Alexander comments "We have been hanging out to tour again ever since the album tour, this one is going to be sick!!"

Black River Drive and Silence the City will accompany Blacklistt on the North Island tour.

Auckland rockers Black River Drive have recently returned from spending a couple of months in Nashville, TN where they recorded their second album with heavyweight hard rock producer Toby Wright (Ozzy Osbourne, Alice in Chains, Slayer) and can't wait to unleash their new material.

Silence the City are a high energy, modern rock outfit from Auckland. The band have recently been writing new material for an upcoming release. Their latest single Closer is currently being smashed on air at The Rock FM.

Setting Fire To Stacey will support Blacklistt for the South Island gigs.

Known for their hard hitting brand of modern rock, Christchurch’s Setting Fire To Stacey are the perfect storm of driving riffs and searing vocals, check out the new single No Way Out produced by Paul Mathews.

Pre-Sale tickets are available online now from http://www.eventfinder.co.nz/. Tickets for the Auckland gig are available at http://www.ticketmaster.co.nz/ and Real Groovy. Tickets are also available from the venues.
