Music From The Pa Boys Debuts At #1

07 February 2014 - 0 Comments

Following the Waitangi Day release of NZ film The Pa Boys, the official soundtrack Music From The Pa Boys has made it’s debut at #1 on the iTunes Soundtrack chart, and #8 in the iTunes Top 40 Album chart.

Produced by Ainsley Gardiner (Boy) and Mina Mathieson, The Pa Boys is a contemporary story with a strong message, following a fictional Wellington reggae band as they embark on a tour 'down north', from Wellington to Cape Reinga.

Staring Fran Kora (from the band Kora) and Matariki Whatarau (Go Girls, The Almighty Johnsons), The Pa Boys is a story about life, death and music, with the prerequisite number of laughs and good vibes that captures the best of NZ talent, landscape and music.

Music From The Pa Boys features tracks from Fran Kora, Warren Maxwell, and Matariki Whatarau, including the featured single Inspiration by Fran Kora (which has already had well over 10,000 views on http://www.youtube.com/).

Music From The Pa Boys is available now from all good digital music retailers.
