Bolbox Rex's new video features on Space this week

This week it's the premiere of the video for the winner of the 2nd Coke Launchpad Competition. Bolbox Rex's video for 'Severed Tongue' was shot at Middlemore Hospital last week and is frickin good.
Also new videos from Goldenhorse, Pan Am and Gerling. House of Downtown are in the studio to play some live house for the soul music as is Wellington R&R combo, Crumb.
Phil and Jo head out to Papatoetoe in the Space/Dawn Raid MC Battle competition. Phil takes on Mareko and makes it into the New Zealand Herald. We look at a rarity in New Zealand - a radio shock jock. We present a lifetime achievement award to Ang Lee who will be in the studio in person to accept it. We also look at a way to avoid all the boring talky bits in movies. And, it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway, a whole lot more.

Mareko is one quarter part of South Auckland based crew The Deceptikonz. He is also one of the most prolific battle emcees to come out of Aotearoa. This month his debut album "White Sunday" will be out in stores, followed by The Deceptikonz second album due out in December. This week on Squeeze we talk to Mareko about his recent trip to New York and producing the album alongside hip-hop heavyweights Inspectah Deck, Roc Raida, Tha Liks and The Beatnuts.
