Music News - The Stone Roses NZ Tour

29 November 2012 - 0 Comments

2012 saw the eagerly anticipated return of The Stone Roses. One of the most critically acclaimed acts of all time, the legendary four piece re-arrived in spectacular style with a summer of sold out headline shows and festivals that saw the Manchester band mesmerize one million live music fans across Europe and Asia.

Following the press conference that announced their reformation on October 18th 2011, the ground breaking British band entered the record books with the fastest selling rock concerts in UK history when their Manchester comeback shows sold 220,000 tickets in 68 minutes!

2013 will see the classic band line-up of Ian Brown, John Squire, Mani (aka Gary Mounfield) and Reni (aka Alan Wren) playing live together in New Zealand for the very first time.

The UK band, whose eponymous 1989 debut album is widely considered to be one of the greatest albums of all time, will appear at Vector Arena, Auckland on Tuesday February 26th 2013.
