Shows: Tues 16 Oct, (le) Poisson Rouge, 6.30pm - Thurs 18 Oct, Alphabet Lounge, 7pm

Tom Lark
Tom Lark emerged out of the after shock of the Christchurch Earthquake when the disaster crushed their recording studio and melted their laptops. The band took to their bedrooms where they created sunlight starved tunes composed in musty jungle like surroundings.

Shows: Tues 16 Oct, (le) Poisson Rouge, 6pm - Wed Oct 17, Trash Bar, 11pm

Popstrangers
Popstrangers are Joel Flyger, Adam Page and David Larson, three native New Zealanders who make “pop” music that’s hard-driving, punk-influenced and sonically inimitable. Their debut album is scheduled for release in early 2013.

Shows: Tues 16 Oct, (le) Poisson Rouge, 7.30pm - Thurs Oct 18, Cameo Gallery, 10pm

Ghost Wave
The Ghost Wave sound finds itself somewhere between the Flying Nun bands of the 80s, the British explosion of the 1960s and the wayfaring dubs of Lee "Scratch" Perry. Sunny, loud, and laid back...

Shows: Tues 16 Oct, (le) Poisson Rouge, 7pm - Fri 19 Oct, Knitting Factory, 10pm -  Sat 20 Oct, Swat Bar, time tbc

Die! members Andrew Wilson and Michael Prain cut their teeth in the live music scene playing in noise bands and going on to form the band in 2003. Die! Die! Die! have always given their all at every show - the result being a band that brings persistent ferocity and energy to live performances.
