Byrne Blood also looked after A1 (5m records) and created or consulted on several kids/pop TV series on UK TV. Between Steps and A1 the company notched up 4 UK number one singles and over 20 top 20 UK hits. ‘Retiring’ to NZ in 2005, Vicky stumbled across a young Kiwi singer-songwriter called Gin Wigmore, whom she has managed since.

Scott Maclachlan Universal Music

He thinks he is too old for this shit, but is unqualified for anything else. He also loves NZ.

Mark Wright Homegrown and Coromandel Gold

After working in marketing and sales and then venturing into the world of advertising agencies for a couple of years Mark took his passion for actions sports and dove head first and a little blindly into event management. Vodafone X*Air was born and over a nine year period evolved into the southern hemisphere’s largest action sports event. Amongst the freestyle Moto-x, skating, BMX and wakeboarding a passion for Kiwi music also evolved into the concept for the Homegrown festival. In 2008 and after a few years of convincing people it was a good idea, the inaugural Homegrown festival was held in Wellington to a sell out crowd, the event has continued to sell out and continued to showcase the best of Kiwi music. In 2009 a partnership with Peter Campbell saw the first Coromandel Gold even held in Whitianga on New Year’s Eve. Also a sell out, Coro Gold was a boomer and is set to become a regular fixture.
