The highly-anticipated release of Ladyhawke’s upcoming album, Time Flies, has been moved to November 19. This is as a result of the latest COVID outbreaks in Aotearoa and Australia causing vinyl manufacturing delays.

“It’s not a decision made lightly but as we've all learned during a global pandemic sometimes the best-laid plans can go awry,” says Ladyhawke.

“As a fan of music, myself, it’s so important to me that vinyl is available for everyone at release. And while it’s frustrating to delay this album, I want to give a shout-out and huge thanks to all the hard-working humans at vinyl pressing plants around the world, and specifically Holiday Records here in Aotearoa, New Zealand.”

As previously announced, the latest Covid outbreak in Aotearoa has also resulted in the dates shifting for Ladyhawke’s Time Flies tour.

The tour now kicks off on Saturday, November 27 at The Hollywood in Auckland. Next is Thursday, December 2 at Blue Smoke in Christchurch and the tour wraps up on Friday December 3 at San Fran in Wellington.

Time Flies is Ladyhawke’s fourth studio album and contains the already released singles Think About You, Mixed Emotions and the hit single Guilty Love ft Broods, which topped triple j’s most played list and has clocked more than 1 million streams. The album, which is being released through BMG, is an extraordinary collection that fuses intimate subject matter and upbeat guitar-led rock with irresistibly catchy electronic elements.
