Introducing Seekr and his first single 'Come Back'

08 January 2021 - 0 Comments

It’s a new year and Seekr thought it was time to finally make his introduction. Seekr’s name derives from the creation of music, "I think making music is always a discovery and as a musician you’re always looking for different ways to express yourself". Seekr may only just be introducing himself to everyone and releasing his first track under the name, but he has produced EDM on and off for years. However, during that time, he never felt like it was something he wanted to commit too. Over the past few years almost all of his musical output has been helping others with their projects, so he finally decided to create Seekr, something that is his own, “I just want to create music that I like, release it and perform it on my own terms”.

Seekr is an EDM artist based in Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland). When he starts playing live he hopes to travel and share his music.

Come Back is the first release from Seekr. The track is about how sometimes you have to let someone you care about, go their own way for a while.

“The lyrics are deliberately ambiguous, because I want people to interpret it how they want”.
