Song Conversations are thrilled to announce their latest project Audience Song.
The callout has begun for songwriters to take part in a creative project that will support songwriters to build and strengthen their online audience & community engagement.
Audience Song will gather a new collective of songwriters, diverse in culture and background who write in a range of musical styles.
Creative New Zealand's grant funds eight songwriters based in Aotearoa (18+) to be part of the project which will provide opportunities within the collective for online collaboration, peer support and creative mentorship, and provide professional online marketing assistance.
Members of the collective will write songs inspired by their audience’s personal stories that speak of overcoming the challenges and adversities of Covid-19 and our fast-changing world. After 3 weeks of online promotion and audience engagement, Audience Song will end with an online showcase of the eight finished songs.
