Unwanted Subject, a metalcore band from Auckland.

Five members from different walks of life that have come together to create ball busting kiwi metal with an aim to bring back original metalcore sound to New Zealand.

Unwanted Subject was formed out of the love for a genre that we all grew up on and continue to portray the message of togetherness and brotherhood.

Initially formed in 2021, and chugging it up on the local stages ever since while promoting and driving their 2021 EP as well as new music.
Since adding a few new members in 2023, they have started 2024 strong with a new music video, new track 'Ceasefire' and continuing to share the stages with Nz's best metal bands and have even head-lined their own shows in the local scene.

With the drop of their single 'Sons Of Savages', a new music video, catching the online attention too, expect more to come in the new year from a band that is relentless on putting on a good live show and growing their audience.
