In a small village suburb of Auckland New Zealand, in a garage a musician sits contemplating what the next journey will be.
The amplifiers are turned off. The ebows are stored away (for a few songs) and the acoustic guitar comes out.
There is still gonna be the rock aspect behind the solo work but on a much more intimate personal level.
Enter the world of Ed Wakem as he takes you on a journey of light darkness and something in between.
Ed Wakem has been playing guitar and writing music since 1995.
Having been the guitarist and front man of Auckland hard hitting rock outfit Telepathy Council, Ed has decided to persue his own styling on the side.
Influenced by artists from Jeff Martin of the Tea Party to Bjork. Steve Riech to Explosions in the Sky. Ed hopes to amalgamate what he really wants to play and release.
A single and video are being released in the near future and a solo acoustic tour is being planned.
