Silence of the Wolves 2016 New Zealand Tour

03 October 2016 - 0 Comments

Black Frog Management & Loaded Entertainment present:
The Weight of Silence & Lycanthrope
'Silence Of The Wolves' 2016 New Zealand Tour.

After a massive 12 months from both The Weight of Silence and Lycanthrope they have decided to team up and do a co-tour of New Zealand.

The Weight of Silence have recently had a new vocalist join the fold and are currently touring Australia for the third time this year, as they celebrate the release of their first single with their new front man at the helm.

Lycanthrope by coincidence are also currently on their third Australian tour for 2016. The band recently released their own standalone single Bitter Resistanceafter doing 2 tours earlier in the year for their EP Revival.

Both bands have been working hard and touring even harder over the last 12 months to try and cement their name in the Australian heavy music scene. It is now time for each band to take that next step and head overseas and what better place to start than with New Zealand. Loaded Entertainment & Black Frog Management have teamed up to bring both bands across the water and be a part of 3 great shows.

After countless tours up and down the country, supporting numerous international acts including Between the Buried and Me, Suicide Silence, Thy Art Is Murder, Animals As Leaders, A Plea For Purging, Parkway Drive, The Acacia Strain, Volumes and I Killed the Prom Queen, they proved their position as one of New Zealand's hardest working metal acts.

Swamp City Goons

"Some say he's a living legend, others say he's a complete cunt... The second group are probably right. Since 1993, Danny Rascal has toured the world, torturing audiences with his music, most notoriously as the front man for Ska/Punk Surfcore legends Monkey Puzzle, who have combined album sales of just over 300 000 units since 1996, and more recently as the instigator and lead singer of Unleash The Kraken, in in just under 12 months together, created a near mythical status in NZ, playing only 5 shows. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Monkey Puzzle's first album and Danny has put together a new band, The Swamp City Goons, to play a handful of dates in celebration, covering a 'best of' selection of his music from the past 25 years, as well as a couple of new tracks, written especially for these shows. Please welcome to the stage, the man voted 'Most Likely To Be Your Real Dad'... Danny Rascal!"
