FORNAX CHEMICA TO RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM CHEMICAL FURNACE ON MAY 31st.

Local psychedelic rock band Fornax Chemica are proud to announce the release of their debut album.
‘Chemical Furnace’ is released May 31^st and features current single ‘Seismic Charge’.

Fornax Chemica is a visionary band that entices you to explore your conscious through any means possible. They have shared stages with Mehsuggah, Cult of Luna, …And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead, Kerretta, Black Boned Angel and This City Sunrise, andare set to create waves with their animated 3D music video for the single ‘Seismic Charge’. The clip is a journey that explores science fiction concepts of deep space and the universe.

‘Chemical Furnace’ was recorded in mid-2009 at RadioStar Studios in California and produced by the renowned, Sylvia Massy, (Tool, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Johnny Cash). The album was mastered at Golden Mastering by John Golden (Primus, Sonic Youth, The Melvins).

Fornax Chemica will embark on a nationwide release tour with ‘Chemical Furnace’, seeing the band play all of New Zealand’s major centres. The tour is accompanied by visual production of unparalleled quality with each set featuring an eclectic combination of 3D visual projections, body painted extortionists and laser shows.
