Gig & Concert News - Tiny Ruins Announces 'In The Wintergardens' Shows

Tiny Ruins Announces 'In The Wintergardens' Shows

15 April 2024 - 0 Comments

Tiny Ruins announces two shows at the Begonia House, as part of their national tour (solo, with Hollie Fullbrook).

Nestle into the magical surroundings of Wellington’s iconic Begonia House, among the exotic plants for this intimate solo concert by Tiny Ruins, with lighting design by Marcus McShane.

A rare blend of eloquent lyrical craft and explorative musicianship, the songs of Tiny Ruins have been treasured by crowds and critics for over a decade. Via an eclectic raft of influences, the musical world of Hollie Fullbrook and band spans delicate folk, lustrous dream pop and ebullient psychedelia.

Their recent album Ceremony has been universally acclaimed, including a nomination for the Taite Music Prize, with many picking them to take out the top award this year.

This show is a part of Lōemis festival (June 9 - 21). Their full programme will be announced on Friday 19th April. www.loemis.nz
