The 30 year old singer-songwriter from Sydney, Australia has made an incredible mark on the indie-folk scene since her first album release, Don’t Let The Kids Win. Her second album Crushing debuted into the Top 10 of the ARIA Albums Chart and captured hearts around the world, landing in more than 20 ‘Best Of’ lists for 2019, including Pitchfork, Junkee and I-D. It was nominated for six ARIA Awards and three AIR Awards and scooped the gong for ‘Best Independent Blues & Roots Album’, along with the Libera Award (US Independent Music Awards) for ‘Best Folk & Bluegrass Album’. Last year, the Blue Mountains raised, now Melbourne based singer-songwriter released a two-tracker through Sub-Pop’s coveted Singles Club and capped the year off with a Christmas single Baby Jesus Is Nobody’s Baby Now.
With a sold out 2019 world tour under her belt, Julia is also back out on the road for the first time since COVID hit, with a run of shows throughout Australia before crossing the Tasman for these very special New Zealand dates.
