The Nukes Ukulele Trio Return to Freida's

22 April 2021 - 0 Comments

The Nukes - Aotearoa’s/NZ’s most beloved and enduring ‘original ukulele trio’.

Returning to one of their favourite venues Freida Margolis. They'll play a bunch of their originally-crafted tunes, perfectly made for the ukulele. Including some old favourites picked from 3 albums of material, plus a swag of new tunes, as they work towards recording a new album.

Expect the usual mix of laugh out loud humour, some magic musicianship, plus classic 3 part harmony. What are you waiting for!

Enjoy a night of Kiwi-flavoured entertainment, grab a bunch of friends and make a booking right now, ( last concert was sold out), see you there.

Part vaudeville, part rat-pack, part musical car crash, this talented trio deliver an engaging mix of humour and originality that audiences of all ages will love.

The Nukes are one of Australasia’s most successful ukulele/ folk acts with more than 10 years under their belts and 3 compelling albums as proof of their creative endeavours (and well in excess of 100,000 streams and platinum 7500 physical sales).
Don’t duck and cover, don’t try and be a hero…just gather all your friends and head for ground zero.

The Nukes have appeared at WOMAD NZ , SPLORE , Auckland and Canterbury Folk Festivals , Oamaru Heritage Festival, New Plymouth Festival Of Light, Wanaka Festival Of Colour, Coastella Festival , The Taranaki, Southland and Hawkes Bay Arts Festivals , Bluff Oyster Festival and a successful nationwide Arts On Tour NZ March 2017, They have also toured extensively in Australia.
