New Zealand singer-songwriter Sam Bartells today releases his first full-length project and debut EP Let’s Go.

An artist debut carefully crafted over years in the making, Bartells brings an alternative approach to country music. His distinct vocals alone are his signature piece. Off the back of this accomplished collection of heartfelt songs, a true troubadour and genuine storyteller has officially arrived!

With a sound and style too immense to be contained to the city of Auckland, Sam Bartells proudly took his talents to Nashville, where he teamed up with renowned Nashville-based producer Dr. Ford. There he penned each of the five tracks featured on Let's Go, and collaborated with Music City songwriters Pete Sallis and Stan Karcz on the title track.

Two tracks off Let’s Go were released earlier this year - the dark and moody lead single Blessed & Broken, quickly followed up with the melodic and ultimately uplifting ballad Sign, both showcasing Bartells gritty, emotive vocals and heart-felt lyricism.

Bartells continues to gain attention in the fiercely competitive Nashville music scene and beyond, his alt-rock-country music impressing receptive music press, and he has celebrated international success as both singles earned placement on some of Apple Music's most coveted editorial playlists.

Let's Go is the culmination of personal history and emotions that Bartells admittedly hadn't found a way to express until now. "This EP genuinely captures my story," Bartells reveals, "Everything about its creation felt right. I'm grateful for all of the hands that played a role in bringing Let's Go to life, and I am thrilled to be able to finally share it with all of you."

To celebrate the release of Let’s Go, Sam Bartells is hitting the road, performing three dates with his talented four-piece band and featuring special guests each night. The EP release tour starts tonight in Whangarei, followed by shows in Hamilton and Auckland, where he will be playing all the tracks off the EP and more.
