This showcase is ofcourse for their upcoming 11 track Album titled 'Tryalls' which has been recorded with Andrew Downes at The Surgery in Wellington.

This is also a showcase in general for the band as they look for support slots, interviews, podcasts, film, visual art, festivals, collaborations and any opportunity to become involved with and get their music in interesting places and ears.

Mikejoffa will be playing a set of their classic, more heavy/grunge/metal edged tracks they have become known for over the past 10 years and for this showcase there will be a spotlight put on their more acoustic/easy listening/folk/ballardish songs. With plans to record a full live performance of their bunch of songs like that, which is something they haven't done before, there lies an opportunity to advertise their capability of performing this style of songs at events as a support act or anything. They are aiming to highlight that side of their catalogue more moving forward and so will be playing these songs on friday between bands, (in recorded form only, due to travel restrictions)
