Expuls Festival News Years Eve Event 05/06
Posted: Wed Mar 30, 2005 2:01 pm
Are you a DJ?
Would you be interested in doing some of what you do best over this New Years Eve?.

The Concept of the Expuls festival is rather straight forward. New years 2005 -2006, Dec 30, 31 and Jan the 1st. Three days of festival pleasure in the beautiful Hawkes bay area in a place called Tukituki. A huge selection of NZ bands and Dj, ranging from local talent to international kiwi successes.

Why a three day festival. Well all round NZ the vibe is out there that a new years blast of just one night is no where near sufficient enough to please us now a days. We want more, always more. So we here at Expuls figured why not provide for that. Why not a festival. Why not a party that lasts for a whole two nights. Two nights of enjoyment and then a whole day in loom for travel and getting over the new years hang overs?. Why not. New years is meant to be a party to last, new years it’s not just a night out in the town, it’s and event. So lets make one of it.

The festival area will be on a remote location in the green pastures of TukiTuki, and will cater for a crowed up to 10000 people. The location will also be the host to a camping and parking area for our visitors. On the grounds there will be a large main stage for all the major acts, supported by a massive lighting and sound rig. A smaller stage which will host for the day and night players, basically providing never ending sound and competitions. A dance tent which will hold up to 1000 people easy for the foot moving sounds of our Dj’s. And last but not least and open stage for anyone with the confidence to play for the crowd that they can pull, a stage that will be located closer to the camp than all the others.

A big undertaking. We are currently gathering a large selection of talented Dj’s. As this is our first festival we are striving for the best, big and overwhelming is the key. It’s not a festival to take light heartedly even tough it is the first. We are setting the festival up to be an annual event, not just a one of.

I am in charge of signing up the dj's for the event and am getting together a list of available dj's for my short list.

If you are interested, send me an email to [email protected] for further info.

If you want to know any extra info please visit www.expuls.co.nz

there is also a talent data base in which if you sign up we will in the
future have a dj agency set up for you.

the link to the database is
