There’s nothing quite like a January day in Hagley Park, and this Saturday is going to be a stunner. The last two years have had perfect weather for the annual Sounday and this year is proving to keep up its reputation as the unmissable family event of the summer.

To keep with the family spirit we have a designated gate, specifically for those bringing little ones, for a quick and stress free arrival. There is free water all day, so please bring your water bottles and paddling pools but leave your BYO at home… as we have licensed bars on site so you can be assured an ice-cold beverage.

Come and dance to the tunes, relax on the grass or recline in the shade of the trees, and let MC Morgan Williams (RDU 98.5 breakfast Producer and co-host) guide you through some tasty musical treats from NZ and aboard.

The running order for the day is:

10-11am Ghost
11-11.30am Sleepy Age
11.45-12.30pm Marianne Dissard (France/US)
12.45-1.30pm Nameless Sons feat. Paul McLaney
1.45-2.30pm Electric Wire Hustle
2.45-3.30pm Don McGlashan
3.45-4.30pm The Handsome Family (US)
4.45-5.45pm The Phoenix Foundation
6-6.45pm Dizz1 (Australia)
7-7.45pm P Money
8-8.30pm Module Live

If this musical Feast isn’t quite enough, we are pleased to announce the Official Sounday After Party. Presented by Jagermeister at 205 Yakatori and Cocktail Lounge (205 Manchester St). FREE entry with music and beats from DJ’s Robbie Glass and Hemi.
