Every Object has a Shadow
A Multi Media Maelstrom!!

On Saturday September 12th the Transmission Room in central Auckland will be transformed into magical visual journey.

With a sparkling light sculpture staircase, moving image lounge with tasty visual treats and interactive interface installations, this will be a night out not to be missed.

Featuring live performances from Pitch Black and Pig Out alongside Automatic spinning a rare electronic set. Ending with everyone’s party favorites North Shore Party Club taking the dedicated ‘stay-out-laters’ through till the wee small hours, this show is all about putting purposeful synchronized visuals into a rockin’ night out.

Produced by audio visual maestro Michael Hodgson responsible for the arty Rotate your States and Soliton events. Every Object Has a Shadow will ensure the eyes are as engaged as the ears. Working with Ashley Turner they will turn the concrete box into a vibrating projection experience.

Automatic – 9.30pm

A long standing favorite of the Pitch Black boys, Automatic has created the opening vibe for many of their shows over the years. Whilst known recently as the soul man he is digging out some electronic bleeps and beats to get this night off to a deep dubby start

Pitch Black – 11.30pm

After the worldwide release in May of their 4th remix album Rhythm Sound and Music, Pitch Black have been touring their twisted version of dubby electronica around the world supporting Amon Tobin (Ninja Tunes, UK) and playing in the mountain festivals in the west coast of the USA and Canada. Playing mainly overseas this is a rare opportunity to see one of New Zealand’s leading live electronic acts playing in their home city.

Pig Out – 12.45am

Recent arrivals to Auckland, steadily building their reputation as a dynamic live act, Pig Out have just finished their new album RAVE X. Recently described as “brooding sub bass rubs shoulders with joyful piano stabs, dark dubstep sits next to twisted electro and futuristic drum n bass charged bangers morph into ecstatic rave throwbacks.” Look out for Pig Out turning dn’b heads in to ravers and neon whistleblowers into UK garage fans in a club near you!

North Shore Pony Club – 2am

These boys have established themselves as able to turn a room full of foot tappers into a writhing mass of dance floor groovers. With their new album currently being mastered, expect them to drop some tasty versions of some new tunes.
