Following the release of the new album “Carved and Created” in October 2008 Tainted have been touring NZ including a huge release show at the Civic in Christchurch with Parkway Drive (AUS) and a stand out performance at Southern Amp08.

What better way to kick into the promotion of Tainted's new album than with the news that legendary guitar manufacturer Jackson® Guitars USA and Shure Microphones reckons you've got what it takes to represent their brands. Jackson® Guitars USA endorses Tainted’s complete guitar lineup; Linly Baxter, Tim Facoory, Sean McCurrie and Shure Microphones endorses frontman Campbell Jenkins.

2009 goes straight into top gear with shows featuring Misery Signals (USA) on their NZ Tour in February, a performance at Uni Orientation in Chch and a massive support slot with the legends Iron Maiden at Westpac Trust Stadium in Chch on Feb 22nd.

Another brief national tour is planned for March with Frankenbok (AUS) on their “ Other Side Of Hell NZ Tour” along with a support show with Krisiun (BRASIL) in April.

Plans for tours in Australia and further abroad are now underway following very positive international feedback regarding the new album.
