Hmmm, Auck's only again.

I'd go for Korn, but ugh, Chimera.. *vomits* Pseudo heavy plastic metal.

saw korn in 06 and yes their latest atempt at music hasnt satisfied me but they r still amazing live! i think its just not as angry as it used 2 which i guess was the initial apeal 4 me as an angree young 14 year old lol but i still listen 2 their stuff. i tend not 2 'outgrow' music i think that a dumb thing 2 say.

any way i would still be goin 2 this gig primarily for chimaira and throwdown plus bihazard will be sweet.

dnt really know enough bout bloodsimple 2 comment any1 else know??

i wonder what local acts will be there my hopes are sinate, subtract, new way home etc all good with me

AND all this for a mere 74 buks! sounds like a mean deal 2 me! in o6 i think it was bout the same but without all the international acts so ill b sure 2 go 2 this 1

Yeah they don't have the youthful angst, but more a different kind of heavy.

Saw them back in 96 (or was it 97?) on the Life is Peachy tour. GREAT gig.

cant get past the clicking bass and down tuned non existanceness of the riffs. Good performers live tho.

Heh, yeah, I hear that quite a lot from people.

It took me a while to warm to them, I'm not really into that era of alt/nu-metal or whatever people label it these days.

But something struck me, their energy in the riffs.

That bass clicking sound actually works for me, because if it was just your regular bass adding bottom end, you wouldn't hear it because the guitars are so low tuned and thick/bassy sounding - kind like Metallica's "and Justice for All" - the guitars were so thick, they swallowed the bass (people think the bass was turned down).

I like the way the click of the bass goes with the kick-drum... hey, it worked for Steve Harris and Iron Maiden Wink

i personally f*ckin love this one. fieldy is the f*cking man! especially on the 1st 3 albums.
i also feel that he would do well in cannibal corpse coz of that real raw sound!! (hammer smashed face and f*cked with a knife ring a bell) haha

They're playing with Throwdown and Biohazard.
Both these bands are better/more epic then Korn.
Even though Throwdown suck balls, Pantera v2.0 yelling abuse about them being Straight Edge sellouts will rule.
