Casionova and Frase+Bri, New Zealand Tour, July.

Home keyboard extremist, low tech lover and electro cabaret artist, Casionova, is bringing his collection of casios to New Zealand.

He will be touring with the local Commodore 64 home computer rockers, Frase+Bri.

Casionova only plays Casio home-keyboards from the 80's with an act that is like Devo and Weird Al Yankovitch with a distortion pedal. He is on a mission to make drunken crowds across the world dance to casio bossanova beats, having already taken his acclaimed electro-cabaret act to Helsinki and Berlin.

Lately he has been farming chickens in Wongawallan, Queensland and is glad to escape the threat of bird flu to bring his casios to New Zealand, along with his new CD 'Demo Button', released on Tickityboo Records.

Tickityboo Records, an underground Australian label championing battery powered bedroom pop stars, is also home of Frase+Bri from Christchurch. Frase+Bri bring their 1983 home computers to sweaty pubs creating a lot-tech pop experience rarely seen outside of the artic circle.

Casionova and Frase+Bri are lo-bit, lo-tech and kinda of geeky and will be spreading Casio & Commodore love throughout New Zealand in July. So get ready to hit autochord and the dancefloor.
