In its eighth consecutive year, New Yeah ’06 locks down an unbeatable line-up of high profile headliners in two of Auckland’s favourite party rooms, 4:20 and The Rising Sun.

Plus, thanks to Auckland City, there will be a large covered outdoor area on K’ Rd which will provide secure, open-air comfort and convenience, to New Yeah party-goers.

In keeping with the occasion, the New Yeah line-up represents some of New Zealand’s most forward-thinking artists including: Recloose, Dick ‘Magik’ Johnson and Frontline’s DJ / producer 41, who have all released albums in 2005, whilst the mighty Concord Dawn will be dropping exclusive tracks from their new album due early 2006.

At midnight, New Yeah goes live as the Opensouls accompany a rogue’s gallery of MCs on stage, while New Yeah favourite Bevan Keys brings his key to the groove, and the dancefloor, then hold tight for a rollicking performance by bFM darlings The North Shore Pony Club who are due to release their debut EP early next month.
