Feelers pre-summer shows!

Everybody’s favorite band, well lots of people anyway, are getting out there to give the people what they want once again.

The biggest rock band in the land, The Feelers, are playing a few shows in the lead-up to summer. The first show is on Thursday Oct 20th in Hamilton at Altitude and the following night… Friday Oct 21st, at the St. James Theatre Auckland.

The Feelers third album 'Playground Battle' is currently sitting at number 8 on the NZ Top 40 album charts, having sold triple platinum since it’s release in 2004 (now up to 48,000 copies).

The Feelers have had two of the biggest radio songs in New Zealand this year — 'Stand Up' and 'The Fear'. The band has been part of every radio programmer’s hit list for the past eight years across many radio formats. NZ has brought just over 160,000 Feelers albums, the crowds are huge, they know all the songs! ... yep, a Feelers show is one big massive party.

Playing with The Feelers on these shows will be Gramsci and The Valves.

Gramsci’s singer-songwriter/haunting melody maker Paul McLaney and guitarist/engineer/producer extraordinaire David Holmes have been quietly producing some outstanding recordings over the past few years. McLaney has also played guest for the likes of Concord Dawn, SJD, Rhian Sheehan and Anika Moa. Gramsci have just released their new album 'Like Stray Voltage' to critical acclaim.

Christchurch’s The Valves are currently recording an album with The Feelers’ James Reid in the production seat. The Valves will be the first release on James Reid’s new record label.
