Phat09 will run from the 30 December until the 2 January over 2 stages including the very best of live & produced NZ & international breakbeat, dub, drum n bass, reggae, dubstep & jazz. All details available as they come to hand on the website www.phatclub.co.nz

Every year our site and facilities just get better! Situated on the beautiful West Coast of the South Island you can escape the city landscape and check out the most premium national and international acts this country has to offer. It will be all of the internationals first time to the Phat Outdoors, this ensures a fresh cutting edge line up and is guaranteed to satisfy all your aural needs!

PHAT09 Bass Camp BASIC INFO that will help make your party more fun:


This years festival will open with the pre-party on Tuesday 30 December, gates will be open from 9am & you will be directed to your camping space. Please note you are allocated a space approx the size of one standard car & tent per 2 people. If you intend to bring large house trucks, buses or larger sized tents please contact us first.

The 2nd Zone will open at noon on 30 Dec for the preparty & will feature mainly NZ DJs thru until noon 31 Dec when the mainstage will open, then both stages will run continuously through until 8am on Friday 2 January. Tickets are available through www.phatclub.co.nz, on the booking page. With earlybirds starting at $145 + booking fee, this price will increase progressively through the year. Acts will be announced throughout the year.

We provide foodstalls, licensed bars, free drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers (pay per use) & this year we hope to have eftpos & cell phone coverage also. You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol, glass, dogs or dangerous substances such as fireworks. You are encouraged to bring your own food & cooking/bbq facilities however if using gas appliances please also ensure you have a fire extinguisher.

Sausage rolls, Gourmet pies, (Potato, Pasta, Greek) Salad, Burgers, juices, Nachos, Burritos, American hotdogs, Chips, Hot dog on a stick, Suvalakis,  Tuatara coffee, Bagels, Panini’s, cake, fruit salad, Juice, Sausages, Burgers, steak Sammy’s, Omelets, fruit toast, bacon & egg Sammy’s, mini pizza, Mini doughnuts, ice cream, fizz pop, candy floss, White bait Sammy’s, pan cakes, gumboot tea and herbal, smoothies, milk shakes, butter chicken, chicken korma, Sweet and sour pork/chicken/vege, Stir fry pork/chicken/beef, Chow mein pork/chicken, roast meals. Breakfast: scrambled eggs, mushrooms, bacon, onion, sausages. YUM!!!

We will have health & safety workers, a St Johns Ambulance & Medical Crew & friendly security & road traffic management workers employed for your safety & assistance at all times during the event. The Phat Shop near the bar will provide a lost & found service & sell bottled water, cigarettes, ice & other necessities such as basic first aid items, sunscreen & insect repellent. The site has a number of swimming holes open during daylight hours. Please come prepared for both heat & cold, dry & wet, with a good tent or other means of shelter. Please bring any medication such as asthma inhalers that you require or may require during the event.

NB there is NO PETROL at Inangahua, please fill your car at Reefton, Murchison, Greymouth or Westport. HOWEVER the Inangahua Store is now under new management & offers delicious homemade pies, fresh fruit icecreams & real coffee! if you have ticketing inquiries please contact Everyman Records in the first instance tel (03) 5483083.

INANGAHUA is on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand between Murchison, Reefton & Westport with the site located in a valley surrounded by native rainforest. Intercity Bus services link Nelson, Picton, Greymouth & Westport & run through Inangahua, which is approx 3 hours drive west of Christchurch, one hours drive east of Westport, 2 hours drive south of Nelson or 3 hours drive south of Picton, where the ferry terminal links with Wellington & the North Island.
