Soma for Kinder started out one night after a bottle of red wine and records.
Tanya Horo, vocalist and co-writer of the indie/electronic group Soma For Kinder would have happily spent decades listening to Bjork and singing sombre lullabies had she not moved to Sydney on a whim and been found and corrupted by Jono Ma and his love of "wintery" electronic grooves, brain-washing computers and noisy processed guitars.
Tanya never quite leaving The Cure, Bauhaus and Bowie in their respective eras and Jono, developing a fixation for a seemingly endless supply of tasteful 12" from Berlin and the diverse army of pioneering artists on the UK label Warp Records helped these two misfists form Soma For Kinder.
