Wahine in the World

This inaugural event is to mark the success of some of our artists on the world stage. Their triumphant concerts continue to take their uniquely Maori voices to places beyond Aotearoa New Zealand. They are our ambassadors and with their musical talents and ability to connect with people, these artists reach across physical and cultural boundaries and touch the hearts of the people they meet. Come along and hear their stories, listen to their music, and join in the festivities to honour these truly special women: Moana Maniapoto, Mina Ripia (Wai 100), Whirimako Black and Toni Huata.
