New RED STEERS record/Free single download

RED STEERS’ follow up to Laga Luga Lagoon, The Fever Fold is being released on April 26th. You can listen and download the awesome first single ‘Canoe’ for free from HERE. Also, if you don’t have it yet, you can download Laga Luga Lagoon for free while you are there also.

Camp A Low Hum ‘The Movie’ - Looking for interviewees!

Over the three years of Camp A Low Hum (’07-’09) we recorded a ton of video footage, now me and Daniel Batkin-Smith (you know, the guy who shoots at camp using that “Wheel” thing) have for the last while been working at putting it all-together, working on a documentary for release. We’ve been filming interviews the last few months and are about to start travelling the country filming more interviews, not just with bands, but with ANYONE who came along to any of the Camps.
If you have anything you’d like to share, maybe a story, or just talk about your memories, please get involved. Also, if you have ANY photos or video (doesn’t matter how crappy), please bring along on a disc or USB stick so we can backup.

We will be filming in Auckland on March 31st and April 1st at the Wine Cellar.

If you would like to come along, please join the Camp A Low Hum group on Facebook url]http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=43641971929[/url] as I’ll be using that to announce the filming dates, times and test screenings. Info about the Auckland iv’s up soon.

Updated Website

I’ve finally actually started adding content to my website! After a few years of it being an empty hole, I thought it was time to try and make it halfway decent. I’m working all March trying to make it worth visiting. I’ve also reinstated the Shop. Since I’m in NZ this year, I’m selling back catalogue again, also, going through my storage dug up some stuff I thought was long gone, some random merch, some sweet posters. I’ve also made everything cheaper than ever before. Check it out: www.alowhum.com/shop/ and of course, the website is: www.alowhum.com

Local Knowledge 2.0

FINALLY, after two years of procrastinating and scribbling down ideas on random notebooks I have started writing it properly. It's going to be completely different to Local Knowledge 1 with touring New Zealand only being a small part of the book. The main focus is touring internationally, but its gonna cover a whole ton of stuff. My aim is to publish it second half of this year.
