Wellington Region, lets make a kickass genre spanning band (alt/rock/indie)

Hey, I'm Blake, and its high time I got off my ass and tried to get a band together. I've played guitar for 5-6 years, and have just started getting into playing while singing, as well as writing songs. I play electric and acoustic, rhythm and lead, but I tend to prefer electric and lead. I can also sing, but would probably prefer a backing vocals role over lead.

Here's where you come in; I want band members! Minimally a bassist and a drummer are required, but a singer, second guitarist, keyboardist/brass player WHATEVER could be good. I'm interested in developing a good sound overall, and it's the people I'm more worried about than the instruments.

Ideally, those people will be hardcore music fans, able to get into multiple genres (mainly so the band can jam out and play around without being bogged down into playing metal/rock/whatever as a part of the band 'image'. If we're free from genre it will be easier to develop our own unique sound)
So, experience and music tastes are important, but not vital. Into metal? That's fine, so long as you aren't ONLY into metal, we can probably work something out
