Dedicated Drummer Needed in Auckland
Posted: Tue Jun 7, 2005 11:38 am
WAZZUP!! Our drummer has moved to Wellington and left us drummerless, so we need a new drummer ASAP. We are a 3 piece (just 2 at the mo.) based in Auckland. I am 28 and my bass player is 24. Jams are at my house and I live in Kingsland near the city. Reliable, longterm drummer needed. Must have own kit and transport and be easy going, available 3 times a week for practise, about 2-3 hours per jam. We are a serious band so you need to be dedicated, so please do not contact me if you are just looking for some one to jam with. We have a venue for gigs. We mainly do semi rock and punk, but you know how it is, what ever we come up with that is decent, we will play. Good mix of covers and originals. Influences are Nirvana, Sublime, Blink 182 and Korn, just to name afew. I have a whole room dedicated to practice, so you can leave your drums here if you don't want to lug them around every time, and you are more then welcome to come over when ever you need a fix on your drums, your choice. So if you want to join our band send me a reply to this post and I will get in touch, or ring Jason on 021 035 8491 or 09 845 2498.

P.S Apon becoming a member of our band, you will also be requiered to regularly get on the piss with us and have a crap load of fun. Our band is a bit of hard work, but also alot of fun. So please reply if you are interested. I garantee you won't regret it. Cheers for reading this. Peace, love & empathy. Mr Green

Howdy, I've just moved to Auckland, only ever done one gig and some "hey lets record this" stuff on a friends 16 track computer set up, but I've been going since '95 and I'm keen to get into something. Led Zeppelin, James Brown, Neil Young, assorted folk/blues/rock/funk type stuff is my main thing but I'm partial to anything, though death core metal doesn't really fit me. I sent James a txt so you've got my number.

Cheers,
