Christian Drummer Looking for Christian Band

Hey guys, my name's Simon, Im 19 and Im looking for a band with Similar styles such as Matchbox 20, Mozelee, Eight, The Feelers, Muse and Opshop.

A bit about my experience: I started at the age of 13 in my forth form year and started getting lessons from the school drum teacher at Avondale College. I did all sorts of music at school including jazz, funk and a bit of latin. When I started getting more into Jazz which was in my 6th form year I started taking lessons from a Jazz drummer at Drumcity and then after I finished bursary I started taking drum lessons from a guy named Paul Russell (Session Drummer, Drummer for a kiwi band named Eight, Was the drummer for Supergroove when they were still around and he is also known as if not the best, one of the best all-round drummers in NZ). He is honestly the man, You should see him drum and right now Im still taking lessons from him. Well there you have it.

Dude, you've been looking for a band for as long as I can remember... Still no luck huh? Internet is almost pointless, go to some gigs, make some friends, become part of the scene.

See if our drummer left right now, I know at least 3 drummers who I am friends with who I would ask before even thinking about looking on the net... Others are much the same...

yeah I know its just really hard to find people that really want to play stuff like U2, matchbox 20 and all that. Everyone wants to play metal and I dont. I have been gigging with people but Im not a huge fan of their music but I gig with them anyway just as something to do but I want to finally find the band that plays music that I really love because thats how I get into it.
