transformer or electrical help needed
Posted: Thu Jun 23, 2005 6:45 pm
I'm looking for a step up/down transformer if anyone has one they wouldnt mind parting with for some bucks. I need to step up from an american 110 to a NZ 240 volts.
needs to be able to handle up to 1000watts.

Its for an old projector ive had lying around.

My email is [email protected] if anyone can help.

even better, if anyone out there is electrically minded and wants to convert it for me just raise yer hand.

I have cash!

thanx

Do you mean step up or step down?

240V ---- Transformer ---- 110V ---- Projector

That would be step down.

110V ---- Transformer ---- 240V ---- Projector

That would be step up.

Anyway, I assume that since you're from NZ you want the first one. Dick Smith's have one, but it's not cheap: click here

ideally, someone to convert the slide projector to nz standards would be preferred.
