Posted: Sat Mar 12, 2005 7:00 pm
Cool Is price or brand more important?

What's the easiest way to download music on to an ipod who can help?

How many songs do you have on yours? Cool

Any advice would be great I am thinking of purchasing to take my NZ Muzic overseas for my OE Very Happy

I've had my iPod for nearly 2 years and the battery is still good. Maybe I'm just lucky... the battery on my powerbook has gone to shit tho!

You need iTunes for the iPod, but i believe it comes with it. Just plug it in to your computer and it will upload your songs automatically, or you can set it up manually (pick and choose as opposed to uploading everything). You can probably find a cheaper mp3 player as apple products are usually more expensive....

Hope this helps.

ALL rechargeable batteries have a limited lifespan.. Not just the one in the iPod.

It all depends on how often you use/charge them.. And you CAN replace the battery in the iPod.

it looks like it would take ages and stuff to get lots of songs on it.

I don't want to be a wet blanket but if I were going on my OE (and I have travelled extensively overseas) the last thing I would want is to have wire plugged in each ear listening to music I've listened to at home.
Leave it behind and go on a new voyage of musical discovery and hearing all the wonderful sounds of new places and people.
Well, that's my advice anyway Happy

P.S. You'd probably get an Ipod overseas much cheaper - if you really want one
