I have a confession..
Posted: Thu Nov 11, 2004 5:05 pm
I am not a hardcore Bleeders fan.

In fact I saw them live and to put it nicely! THEY SUCKED! They were worst then Dave Dobynn and Lucy Lawless singing Loyal together.. and believe me, that was bad.. that was very bad.

I know that a lot of people always go on about The Bleeders and their live shows, how good they are and shit like that.. well they weren't when I saw them. The instruments were turned up so loud that I could barely hear the lead singer and I couldn't tell one song from another.

Maybe that's not them normally, tell me if thats what they're like all the time? (I hope not) Were you there? It was a concert, playing at the real groovy in queen street, in the holidays

Also, one more thing: I do like the Bleeders when they're not playing live..

It's just that a lot of people always rave on about them and give them great reviews for their concerts... it really annoys me!

I really really dislike Fast Crew!!

Who the hell ? what the hell? convinced them that they could actually sing / rap. And 4 that chick in the group why does she exist as a "FAST CREW MEMBER!"????? Who on earth said that she could sing{neither can I!}

Now that they goin to Asia and creating their music Laughing Laughing Laughing man i feel sorry 4 the Asian's and their sensitive ears.My deepest sympathy goes out to all the Japs and Chaps.!

Oh and another thing ... I wouldnt be surprise if they go 2 U.S.A and all their songs/albums get flushed dwn the dunnie Laughing Laughing Laughing

Peace!

You know who i hate? Those pop-rock call themself punk wannabes. I'm talking about Simple plan, Yellowcard, Bowling for soup, Goodnight Nurse, and Good Charlotte... theres plenty others but can't think of them right now...
They're so incredibly annoying arghhh!! I mean yea, they know how to play music, but arghhh it sounds exactly the same, it's gone beyond the meaning of cliche -it sickens me Shock I'm mean I'm sure they're nice guys and all, but fuck, write some better songs and maybe I'll buy your album.

I read an interview/review on Simple Plans new album, and one of the members said "we feel we've grown up, and our songs are so much better than he last album" so reading this I was interested to hear their new sound. But then a week later I heard 'welcome to my life' on the edge and FUCK they havn't changed their sound at all, it has pretty much the same feel, tone, sound, and voice (oh god no, the VOICE) as their previous singles eg. perfect, I'm addicted to you. But actually, I shouldn't have been surprised at all, as it was kinda predictable...

Anyway, I know it probably sounds like rabbling now, but yea, I'd rather spend my $30 on a Phil Collins C.D.

Theres a new term for pop punk wannabees. Its called "emo"

and yes, fast crew sucks and so does avril lavigne. the only person who ever called her a "skater punk" was herself!!

Lets face it, as much as i love punk rock, punk is fucking DEAD

i have a shocking confession.....dont hate me for this i already hate myself enough! I actually bought the avril cd!!!!!Can you believe it? It was the biggest waste of 20 bucks. But i was curious to see if her new music would improve but like we all thought she still is a wannabee punk and cant sing or write good songs for shit.

Hmmm but on the topic of the bleeders I think they are awesome although I've never seen them live. They have alot of talent and luckily the 20 bucks i spent on their e.p was well-spent!

hey I was there too, to be honest I was dragged there by my sister, Im not a huge fan of the bleeders, in fact I went along because I wanted to ask the bassist if he had my dc adapter in (he works at go west) but I hung around and despite not being a huge fan they were extremely tight and well mixed, considering the room size, obviously ruzhkal you are not a gigging musician, nor are you a sound tech, because if you we're you would realise how loud drums are in a confined space, they drown everything therfore guitars etc need a little cranking up for violent drummers (ala the bleeders) I spoke to angelo after the show aswell, he said he was having trouble with a sore throught, which would obviously make him harder to be heard, yet I still seemed to hear him fine, as did my sister. about the volume thing, perhaps your just some sort of a pussy who cant cope, but I didn't have a problem with it, as it seemed nor did the grey haired guy who was taking photos, the guy who was stood next to me (who looked in his 40s actually was saying he wished they'd play a bit louder, they we're louder last time he saw them....
anyway on the whole conffession thing..

today i found myself singing along to songs by the following "artists"

ashlee simpson
hillary duff
and avril........

.......but then again they're not that bad when you consider some of the appalling rubbish thats spewn out these days, in fact I'd go as far as to say that they're ok.......Im off to listen to my cheeky girls album (you guys got the cheeky girls here right? or was that just the uk, well anyway they were on pop idol (like nz idol but original) and they sucked so everyone loved them)

i LOVE the bleeders

and at the concert in real groovy it is true that the instruments were louder than angelo, and i think that it was coz there was no sound check or anything, coz when i saw them in taupo it was a really good balance. so yea. i donno.

i still liked that concert....
