We have two people going to the music awards this year to take photos and review the event. There will be photos of performances and winners accepting their prizes on our NZ music awards feature in the coming days - watch this space!

crap that steriogram didn't win anything and of course that ben lumis would win only coz he was and idol winner it happind to them all and i never new that scribe was internationaly famous dude steriogram should have been in that nominations dude they were on MTV and Toronto music awards and getting played on fuse and mtv and up for another nomination on the mtvu wooddys another new music awards thing in the u.s they have toured the us and canada and japan a couple of times........................

tho is was cool how steriogram came to the vnma04 this year hope they win somthing soon

haha ben lummis only got best selling single because the warehouse brought the whole bloody lot and probably still have 100,000 copies in stock.

i agree with the whole steriogram issue. what surprised me was scribe got the viewers choice(was that viewers choice or people's choice?) and steriogram was in that category. the rock acts nominated were pretty crap. i didnt see the feelers or blindpspott or shihad in the nominees list. hopefully it gets better next year.

The whole Awards Ceremony and Performances wasnt all that I mean.

It woulda really been cool if there was a theme to the whole Awards Show.
The stage and lighting wasnt FAN-TABULICIOUS!! I mean decoration to the stage coulda spice things up. It didnt feel like I was watching an Awards Show ....it felt like I was watching a Talent Quest...which was filmed on a home vid cam. {there was nothing wrong with the camera or anething}....But the whole atmosphere 4 me...wasnt all exciting.

2004 MTV VIDEO AWARDS....WAS COOL!

My Oppinion / Suggestion:

New Zealand aint a big counrty right? And some of our artist's go over 2 Auss to promote their single/c.d . And Auss artist come over to do the same {but Auss aint a small country though}. Why dont New Zealand Music and Artist have a combined Award Show/s...that would be awesome and cool...I mean I would serisouly enjoy that. And the perfomances would be cooler and the stage presentation would be excellent.

The really sad thing was when...b4 showing who's nominated for the catergory....{I 4gt which one it was} but they showed these freaky as dolls and blood coming out of its mouth on2 the screen.

That was just wrong.
