Anybody have any idea roughly what time Maiden are due onstage in ChCh?

Also, any rumors about when Ed Force One is landing in ChCh???

I believe Auckland had the bigger attendance.

ChCh was sold-out upstairs but you could swing a cat downstairs.

The ChCh Press review was PATHETIC. Written by Slim from Tainted, who just harps on about how great it was to do the show... with a couple of paragraphs briefly describing Maiden's performance.

This isn't a bitter ex-Tainted member speaking, just a disgruntled Maiden fan.

Auckland had the bigger crowd but it was stil a dismal turnout

the CCH venue held about 9000 is that right? n if that wasnt full then we cud probly say 8000 people there

and auckland coulda held 35000 and there were 14000

dont think dainty will be bringing maiden back, if not any international back to NZ for a long time after the caining they would have taken on these shows, still an awesome experience seeing maiden tho! was stoked to hear fear of the dark when i was just expecting all the stuff off the new 80's greatest hits,

Okay I take it back now...

Talked to Timmay on the phone just before...

THE PRESS approached Tainted out of desperation because they didn't have a reviewer, asking if one of the band members would be willing to.. Tim said NO. They pestered him again and they said "Well how about one of you just writes about the experience of playing with Maiden"... nothing wrong with that.

Then it pops up in THE PRESS.

Not cool.

They're a law unto themselves that paper.

They also said they had a photographer sorted, but that didn't happen. Hence the Auckland pic being in Tuesday's Press.

i was told that auckland sold 18,000 tickets. not that that is much better. i hope everyone enjoyed themselves. that setlist was amazing. damn near perfect! my personal highlights would have been children of the damned (a song i never imagined i would ever hear live) and fear of the dark (the best sing a long song ever!!). a shame about THE PRESS, the media sucks!!

Lauren has nothing going for her musically, I'm afraid.

Zero stage presence, crap songs and a less-than-average singing voice.

Rock-quest quality at best.
