I'm thinking Smashing Pumpkins (headling)

Arch Enemy or Machine Head as the token metal act.

and also Queens Of the Stoneage...

For a while I thought Linkin Park for headline but they announcd a show at vector so that prooved me wrong.

I hope RATM.. If they havnt broken up again?

They needn't bother selling alcohol at that event. The queues are so long and the prices so astronomically ridiculous (c'mon, $22 for 4 300 ml Lion Red's... LION RED???? One of the worst beers ever made too!). You're better off popping a disco biscuit if you want to get f**ked up.

If I ever go to a Big Day Out again, it WON'T be in NZ, the Aussie ones are much less crowded and you don't have to wait 45 minutes to go for a piss.

My favourite quote from this year's BDO.... a chick comes out of the MEN'S cubicle in the loo's... "OMG IT STINKS IN THERE".... can't imagine why!! Laughing

Yes Rly - fingers and toes crossed huh. Mr Green

I thought the Chemical Brothers played not that long ago - don't quote me on that though Wink

The line up I'm hoping for are Terror, Bleeding Through, Lars Frederickson and The Bastards (I'm allowed to dream) and AC/DC Laughing

I thought I told you not to quote me Twisted Evil just pulling your tit. Have the BDO ever played the same band twice?

Yeah Lars Frederikson is a fucking legend - love that song Anti-Social and skunx, switchblade - the list just goes on and on and on and on...

Yup, quite a few.

Shihad and Salmonella Dub have played HEAPS of BDO's. I saw PJ Harvey at two differend BDO's.... I'm pretty sure Blindspott have played at least 2 or 3. Lots of dance acts too. Aphex Twin has played multlple shows I think.

kings of leon, the mars volta (at the drive in ) the white stripes have all played twice
it's not uncommon if the band has pushed forward in their careers.

The first PJ Harvey one she was jetlagged and (so an inside source tells me) having, uh, drug problems. She played good but looked like she'd rather be elsewhere.

2nd time she was on fire.

But both times were great for me, she's awesome.

My mate saw them at Live Earth in London, he said they were awesome, and played all their old stuff.

Well in that case, I would like to add Metallica to my list of "come-Backs"

I'm just dreading the day the BDO run out of bands I would like to see.

I hate the BDO that has heaps of big mainstream acts because then that place is packed out like fuck! Like this years was ridiculous!

You won't run out, coz you'll discover new bands all the time.
