I'm an American that ill be atteneding a NZ school and one of the post said that New Zealand didn't have MTV. Does New Zealand have ne other types of music tv like VH1 or somthing like it? Also, what was the difference from MTV and MTV UK as far as content?

If you get sky (which is like cable tv) you get Juice which plays a lot of pop.. although I don't think they play as much as MTV UK used to play. Then in October one of our free television stations will have music videos played at nights.

I duuno, I mean the US is now in this kinda anti-pop phase right now. There are only a few pop artist out now and no bubble gum artist. I think the US teens finally realized that Britney Spears had very little to no talent. Anyway, MTV UK was more pop oriented? MTV in the US has most of all music. It changes rapidly. Right now it is mostly R&B, Rap Hip-Hop, and Punk music at the moment. It's different there?
