I wouldn't get any gold stars for anything after Mechanical Animals... my interest started waning after that. Those memorable songs just weren't there anymore for me. Actually I find Manson a bit hit and miss. The only album with no low points for me is Antichrist - probably because he was so fucked up at the time - torment always breeds memorable works of art. Not that he doesn't have issues now (particularly with his ex wife), but he really was at rock bottom then.

Now that is a wicked album, real good "fuck off" lyrics.
My fav album from Manson would have to be Portrait Of An American Family - that album never gets boring.
Have you seen his video clip for Lunchbox? Wow what a different boy he was back then.

Yeah they used to play it on MTV back when we had Euro MTV in the late 90's. I miss that, the MTV we get now is pants.

I love the movie quotes all through Portait, the best lines pop up in the coolest places.

Cake & Sodomy is my favourite track... but Dogma really pumps me up.. BURN THE WITCHES! BURN THE WITCHES!

Another awesome video clip off that album is Dope Hat - Good old Willy Wonka. Manson should have played Willy Wonka instead of Johnny Depp in the latest movie.

Clutch - Blast Tyrant

I cannot stress the awesomeness of this album enough. Fans of good no-bullshit rock need to check this out. Simple, blues-based riffs with throaty (but not screaming) vocals, semi-heavy but definately not metal. Best way to describe it - Black Sabbath raping Frank Zappa... kinda.

These guys shit albums too, it's awesome. Just as I've caught up with one, another comes out. Record-aholics.
