Band & Musician News - Jake Love releases EP 'Soccer'

Jake Love releases EP 'Soccer'

24 February 2020 - 0 Comments

Hitching a ride on the back of recent singles Now She’s Gone and Blue, Tamaki Makaurau artist Jake Love offers his debut EP Soccer. Evoking a catalogue of lost loves, Soccer takes his bleeding heart and washes it out with a hi-fi guitar-pop filter. The video for Now She’s Gone, creatively led by Love and shot by Beren Allen gives abandoned downtown Auckland a football-femme remix that is equal parts bittersweet and hopeful.

In tandem with his EP release, Love is returning Galatos to its ballroom roots, welcoming sweethearts and longing eyes alike with a sound that makes you grab your dancing shoes. Grab a partner for the slow dance; Jake Love debuts his summer crushes-setlist with ethereal synth pop-wahine, Lévyne in Galatos Basement this Saturday 29th February.
